Dive

It goes without saying that diving is one of the main draw cards of the Maldives. Diving in the Maldives is a very unique experience not only for experienced divers but also for beginners. Once you have discovered the underwater world here it will be difficult to find others of its kind. The water is azure blue, warm, and the varieties of dive spots are stunning. You can enjoy drift dives in channels as well as discovering caves, overhangs, and exceptional beautiful reefs, diving in the Maldives is never boring. The diversity of corals and fish of all sizes sets the Maldives apart from most dive locations around the world. If you are looking for an activity-focused holiday where you can combine the very best of the Maldives, then a holiday learning to dive is just what the doctor ordered.

Our professional diving instructors will bring you to the best dive spots where ever you are and introduce you to the characteristics of the Maldives and its water residents. We offer boat dives as well as the full scope of PADI courses and always ensure you get the best out of your dive. Safety is our highest priority and you can be ensured to enjoy safe and fun diving with us.

If you are coming to learn to dive, then you will be looking at completing your PADI Open Water certification. Taking less than a week, you will learn amongst other things, the affects of pressure on the body, how to maintain your buoyancy; how to communicate with your buddy and emergency procedures should anything go wrong.  Your time will be split between studying theory and actually diving. Lessons begin in the lagoon, before moving to open water dives where you will be able to dive to 18 meters.

Diving is an activity that is hard to beat. Once you get used to the equipment and start to slowly free fall into turquoise blue below, you will forget about everything and become an underwater astronaut, suspended in a deep blue that the Maldives is so well known for.

Dive season runs all year around but from November to May the conditions are close to perfection due to calm sea and brilliant visibility.
