Surfing is one of the activities that can look deceptively simple, yet it can take a life time to master. Given the lack of easy waves in the Maldives and the fact most people don’t have enough time to master the basics during a visit, surfing in the Maldives is really only suited to existing surfers who are in good surfing shape.

The Maldives offer you world class surfing conditions from March to October with their peak from June to August. Average sizes of 4-8 feet waves are found but also exceptions (bigger but also smaller) have been experienced. The Maldives offer a great variety of reef breaks and different intensities

You can be part of a surf safari and cruise around, you can also stay in a hotel resort and enjoy all its comforts and/or enjoy the pleasure of the local islands and its moderate prices.
